Miller Waste Systems Inc. has been in operation since 1961. Miller is a leader in waste management, providing government and industries with a wide range of services in the provinces of Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba, Miller has 50 years’ experience in the waste management sector and operates out of 30 locations.

**Location**: Miller Waste Systems - Peel Contract

**Reporting to**: Operations Manager

**Start Date**: TBD

**Responsibilities**:
In the position of Swing Driver, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act
- Must have excellent knowledge of and be familiar with the roads in the Peel Region and surrounding areas
- Must be flexible and able to cover multiple locations in the Peel Region
- Safe operation of a Roll-off truck, Front End Truck and residential equipment.
- Ensure Customers are serviced as per their contractual requirements and schedules
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Meet or exceed performance and productivity expectations through proven results
- Comply with all Miller Waste System and Provincial health and safety policies and procedures
- Maintain your vehicle in a tidy safe condition and clean behind blade daily
- The occasional Saturday may be required in emergencies / holiday situations

**Requirements**:

- Clean drivers abstract and no preventable accidents in the past year
- Must be able to demonstrate experience with manual transmissions (8,13 or 18 speed)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Flexibility with your work schedule is necessary as start and end times may vary. Statutory Holidays will be required at times.
- Effective written and verbal communication is mandatory
- You must have excellent attendance and performance records, as well team building, communication and organizational skills are mandatory
