**Overview of Position**:
Cablevision is a leader in the cable television and cable Internet industries in Abitibi-Témiscamingue region.

As part of the BCE Controllers organization, the accounting clerk assists and supports his supervisor in the general accounting of Cablevision daily operations such as bank reconciliations, deposits, disbursements, payroll processing, production and analysis of financial statements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to get involved in understanding and improving operations and processes by partnering with the various business units of the BCE group.

**Job Duties/Accountabilities**:
The accounting clerk is responsible of the following accountabilities:

- Manage:

- Broadcasters’ payments
- Accounts payables
- Payroll
- Government remittances (sales taxes, income tax)
- Produce financial reports and perform financials analysis
- Manage projects and fixed assets continuity schedule
- Manage group insurance, CSST, Group RRSP, Employee Saving Plan and do the remittances
- Ensure month end deadlines and reporting quality standards are met, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Understand end to end process, identify, recommend and implement process/control improvements to increase operational synergies and efficiencies
- Support business units and other departments for all financial matters

**Competencies/Qualifications required**:

- College or University degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of experience in an accounting/financial role
- Good skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Knowledge of accounting software Acomba
- Solid analytical, organizational and problems solving skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a demanding and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work independently, as well as possess a strong team orientation
- Bilingual: Interactions with English speaking customers or people outside of Quebec
