Quality Control Inspector

We seek energetic, disciplined, and dedicated engineers to perform quality control tasks, such as testing and calibration of our instruments. Also, to aid research and development tasks, this includes gathering data and creating tests for various sub-systems of our devices.

Job Description: Quality Control Inspector
- Inspect, sample and test materials and incoming parts or products based on valid test plans.
- Test and calibrate manufactured instruments used for air quality testing and sampling.
- Inspect and release final product based on valid test plans.
- Re-inspect and re-test reworked or repaired products.
- Conduct environmental and performance testing of various instruments.
- Maintain thorough documentation of tests and inspections based on valid policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and debug products.
- Perform device calibration.
- Discuss inspection results with quality manager and recommend necessary corrective actions.
- Cooperate with production staff in solving quality problems based on test and inspection results.
- Analyze quality results and suggest improvement areas to quality manager.
- Meet efficiency targets depicted by quality manager.
- Ensure customer quality requirements and expectations are championed within the organization.
- Participate actively in product design and development review meetings.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience
- Effective teamwork and communication.
- Genuine passion for efficiency automation and infrastructure/platform building.
- Clear and coherent written communication, including visual representations of data.
- Good understanding of quality management systems based on ISO9001 requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office.
- Commitment to all regulatory and Scentroid health and safety requirements
- Post-secondary degree in engineering or sciences is an asset.

*Knowledge of electrical components and basics of electrical products is an asset.

- Scentroid may ask you for 1 day work Trial during interview process.
- This position is full time with 3 months of probation period.
