**About the Position**:
This Powder Coating position is responsible for safe, efficient, and quality powder coating of customer goods by paying close attention to detail and process repeatability.
- Have at least 1-year experience powder coating (OR) 1-year experience as an industrial painter.
- Be familiar with the steps necessary to prepare surfaces for coating.
- Demonstrate clear understanding of common coating techniques and problem areas.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and give clear instructions.
- Treat all equipment with care.
- Understand and demonstrate past experience consistent with Aegis’ core values.

**DUTIES**:

- Powder coat (priming and top coating) customer goods according to our Aegis’ coating guidelines.
- Keep accurate records for job time and inventory.
- Maintain and service coating equipment as needed.
- Assist on floor as production demands but give priority to coating booth.
- Clean out of both booth and coating equipment (guns, hopper, etc).
- Attend and contribute to production hurdles, safety meetings, and training as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- At least 1-year experience powder coating or industrial painting
- Capable of reading and writing in English.
- Able to safely lift to 50lbs.
- Flexible to work to the shifting production demands to meet customer needs.
- Actively engage in problem-solving, not problem naming.
- Effective at time management.
- Detail oriented and able to follow a process to completion.
