Chaque jour, plus de 1 000 personnes travaillent au sein du réseau des YMCA du Québec pour offrir des services diversifiés qui entraînent des changements positifs chez les individus.
Sous la supervision de la coordination sports et activités jeunesse, le/la moniteur.trice spécialisé.e aura comme mandat de planifier et d’animer des séances d’arts martiaux pour enfants de 6 à 11 ans en suivant le cadre du programme YMCA.

RESPONSABILITÉS
- Planifier et enseigner des séances d’arts martiaux selon la description de cours et les lignes directrices établies par les YMCA du Québec;
- Animer les séances d’arts martiaux de façon dynamique et avec leadership;
- À travers la danse, favoriser la croissance et le développement des enfants;
- Observer les participants et participantes et offrir une rétroaction qui favorise l’apprentissage;
- Faire un suivi des progrès des enfants, remplir les carnets de progression et remplir le bulletin de compétences du YMCA;
- Communiquer régulièrement à l’oral avec les parents et répondre à leurs préoccupations et questions de façon rapide et cordiale;
- Offrir un environnement accueillant, inclusif et sécuritaire aux participants et participantes;
- Favoriser le développement d’un sentiment d’appartenance chez les participants et participantes;
- Adhérer aux politiques et procédures du YMCA régissant la protection des enfants et personnes vulnérables.

COMPÉTENCES
Pour mener à bien sa mission, le/la moniteur.trice spécialisé.e devrait:

- Détenir une certification RCR-DEA niveau C valide ou avoir l’intention de l’obtenir;
- Détenir une certification en premiers soins (un atout);
- Avoir de l’expérience dans l’animation auprès des jeunes;
- Avoir de l’expérience en encadrement et/ou de l’expérience en arts martiaux;
- Avoir l’âge requis pour être instructeur.trice de sports (16 ans ou plus);
- Maîtriser le français à l’oral;
- Maîtriser l’anglais à l’oral (un atout);
- N'avoir aucun empêchement judiciaire en lien avec l'emploi.

**Horaire**: mardi de 17h à 18h du 2 avril au 11 juin.
