Server/bartender

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
- Comply with all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or bar setting.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their experience at our establishment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
