**Who are we?**
Our customers rely on us to be there for them when their equipment needs servicing or repair. That’s where you come in.
As our new **Parts Order Person**, you’ll work closely with our Sales Team, Service Coordinator, Service Technicians, and Customers, to provide the support needed to make sure our customers receive their parts when they need it.
Your core tasks will include:
- Responding to incoming parts sales calls for the Compressed Division.
- Create quotes, proposals, budget quotes, and technical specifications as required by Customers or Outside Sales Team for aftermarket sales.
- Follow up on supplier leads in a timely manner.
- Update CRM on a daily basis to reflect sales activity Manage inventory on a regular basis + manage purchasing of in-house inventory to minimize shipping and carrying costs.
- Review and analyze requisitions and select appropriate supplier and/or contractor for order placement.
- Monitoring of outstanding purchase orders and expediting as necessary
- Determining parts and supplies required by the Outside Sales and Service Department and issuing purchase orders and arranging for deliveries as needed.
To start, success in this role will involve learning and mastering our products, processes, and systems. Once you’re up and running, your success will be reflected directly in the satisfaction of our customers, as well as your teammates. Using your excellent organizational and communication skills, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that parts are received on time.
**Qualifications**
The best person for this role will come prepared with experience in a similar role, within a similar service-based industry. You may be coming from a parts and service department, or perhaps you’ve worked as a technician and are now looking to get off the tools and into the office - either way, you’re dedicated, motivated, and ready to take the next step in your career.
Here’s what we need:
- 3+ years’ experience in an office-based, or customer-facing role
- Experience as a Parts Order Person in a similar service industry (e.g., electrical, plumbing, etc.) is strongly preferred
- Experience using QuickBooks would be an asset, but is not required
- Valid driver’s license
This is a full-time job working primarily out of our office in the Gloucester area of Langley, BC. We are a progressive and modern company looking for another team player who is interested in being part of a growth-oriented team.
You’ll receive a complete compensation package, including a starting salary between $55,000-$57,000 per year. You’ll also receive full benefits.
