**Shifts offered**
- No rotating shifts
- Full time, year round work
- Opportunity for overtime
- Monday-Friday work week, no weekends

**Day shift** (Monday to Friday); 5 days a week $19.00

Work hours currently 7am-3pm

**Afternoon shift** (Monday to Thursday); 4 days a week $21.00

Work hours currently 3:30pm-1:30am

**Job duties**
- Assemble precut lumber to build trusses used in building construction
- Place metal reinforcement plates over connecting intersections and attach boards at joints, using hand tools such as a hammer
- Operate press machine to provide additional reinforcement to secure the metal plates
- Remain active for entire shift by assisting in pushing, pulling and lifting finished trusses
- Read and understand truss requirements according to the ‘cut sheet’
- Perform checks on product output to ensure quality control is maintained
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe workplace
- Ensure quality remains a top priority and a focus throughout the entire building process

**Desired Characteristics**
- Knowledge of basic framing and construction processes is an asset
- Punctual and reliable
- Proficiency with basic hand tools
- Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
- Ability to work in a fast paced and repetitive work environment
- Works well individually and together as a team
- Exhibits a positive “can do” attitude
- Hardworking and dependable

- Basic math skills: able to read a tape measure

**Physical requirements**
- Standing for long periods of time
- Physical ability to lift 50 to 70 lbs
- Jumping up and down from a three foot high table
- Perform repetitive physically demanding job
- Work in a shop facility
- Ability to work in different environmental conditions(inside, outside, hot, cold)
- Exposure to noise, vibration, and dust

**Tools required**

Steel toe work boots or shoes, $150 work boot allowance after 3 months

Located in Watford, ON

Personal reliable transportation is required prior to beginning work
