Don’s Bakery is a bakery located in the heart of Muskoka in the beautiful town of Bala. Established 75 years ago, in 1947, we are well-known for our delicious, made-from-scratch baked goods alongside our friendly customer service. We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our team working at local festivals, events and farmer’s markets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the creation, marketing and communication of events at Don’s Bakery
- Assist in set-up and tear-down of events (loading and unloading)
- Travel to various locations for events (must be comfortable driving a cargo van on highway)
- Coordinate and assist in product selection and quantities for weekly events
- Follow all company safety and security policies
- Sell and upsell products
- Promote brand and help increase awareness
- Follow up post event within 24 hours

Who You Are
- Experience in customer service/sales
- Passion for baked goods
- Detail oriented and responsible
- Impeccable service skills
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Critical thinker, resourceful and driven
- Collaborative and mindful team member willing to do what it takes
- Able to carry 40 lbs
- Willingness to work outdoors and evenings and weekends

**Other Details**:

- This is a seasonal position from May-October or May-August (depending on your availability
- Those who are 25 years old or older with clean driving record will be elligible for a higher rate of pay (to be negotiated)
- Additional option to work onsite at the bakery during non-event days

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
