Auction Team Lead
Our Auction Team delivers exceptional value added services to our customers by organizing large volumes of items, creating engaging catalogs for buyers while doing our part for the environment by keeping items out of landfills.

**In this role, the Auction Team Lead will**:
- Supervise Auction Team Members during catalog and pick up shifts.
- Train and develop employees in the field on policies and procedures.
- Organize item(s) into lots, measuring and identifying them with labels.
- Photograph and describe the items using the MaxSold app.
- Manage the flow of buyers in a safe and orderly manner during pick up.
- Ensure auction buyers receive the items they have won while providing a positive customer experience.
- Safeguard the seller’s home or business and their belongings at all times.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
- Meet all physical requirements which may include: standing for long periods of time, squatting, crouching, as well as going up and down stairs.
- Meet all working conditions at various locations which may include: non-temperature controlled environments, indoor/outdoor settings.
- Ability to attend meetings via video as required.
- Ability to communicate electronically using company platforms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Required Qualifications**
- Supervisory or managerial experience managing 4 or more direct reports.
- Strong technical skills and troubleshooting capabilities to navigate technology across multiple platforms and provide interim solutions prior to escalation.
- Customer Service mindset with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to problem solve and adapt in high pressure and fast paced situations.
- English verbal and written literacy
- Reliable transportation to drive up to 100 km in Canada or 60 miles in the US with a willingness to work in areas including downtown, suburban and rural; and/or coordinate carpools if necessary
- Android device running Android Lollipop OS (Android 5.0) or higher or an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, etc) running iOS 13.2 or higher
- Availability weekdays, evenings and weekends
