Chiropractic Assistant

I am Dr. Erin McLaughlin, and I am hiring a Chiropractic Assistant in my busy family practice in Kanata south (Glen Cairn). Our clinic has been serving the community for 18 years and is a well-known health resource. The position involves some administration and computer work, but is primarily a hands-on role directly involved in patient care along with me.

You are excited to share amazing results and inspire our patients to share their testimonials and online reviews. You are a natural with social media - on trend and relevant while maintaining professional standards. Assets include being skilled in content creation and videography, as well as experience using the Canva app.

You are an efficient self-starter and you work with precision and accuracy. I need a highly organized team member who can stay one step ahead all the time. You are confident with MS Word and Excel. All other software training is provided. Secondary education is a must.

You will work with me 3 afternoons a week doing patient intake exams, taking health histories, photographic posture screenings, teaching exercises and stretches, x-ray set-up, some computer work, some social media work, and actively assisting in the growth of our family practice by encouraging referrals. Extensive training is provided on the job. I am looking for someone who really wants to feel like part of a team, to contribute and make a difference serving people.

My practice is busy, and our clinic is a high-energy, fast-paced environment. We serve hundreds of local families each week.

This is a part-time, permanent position, with the possibility to become a full-time assistant to 2 chiropractors in the future.

The hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 3-4 hours per day (All afternoons).

Example shifts: 2:00-6:00pm, 2:30-6:30pm, 3:00-7:00pm, 3:30-7:30pm.
