Perth’s western Canada's oldest and largest dry cleaner. We operate CRDN Manitoba which is part of The Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network, providing garment and têxtile restoration solutions to contractors and the insurance industry. CRDN is looking to hire a Restoration Technician to join our team.

As an Electrical Technician, you will need to test and restore electronics that have been previously damaged caused by a disaster. Most electronics will require the deconstruction and rebuild to find the root problem while testing. The electronics will then need to be restored and cleaned back to their natural state. Physical labor will be required, and teamwork is expected.

As a Restoration Technician, there will be extensive work in the restoration of soft contents that have been affected by a disaster. This position requires you to work as part of a team, in difficult situations where physical labour is required.

This position will require you to be cross trained in both soft good restoration and electronic restoration.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

- Performing a pack out onsite - Sort, document, label and pack up soft contents with care.
- Transport goods to warehouse for processing
- Sort, tag, and enter detailed information into computer of all customers soft contents.
- Assemble customer orders and prepare for deliveries.
- Prepare reports and handle communication with contractors
- Additional duties as required.

Typical duties for (Electrical Technician) include, but are not limited to:

- Testing and manifesting full reports on electronics
- Cleaning and restoring
- Investigating cause of damage
- Deconstruction and rebuild of electronics
- Additional duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Must be detailed oriented.
- Must be computer literate.
- Ability to work unsupervised, and in a team environment.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism on site.
- Must have a valid Manitoba drivers’ license.
- Must be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs (contents).
- Typical work sites may include water, fire and smoke conditions.
- Steel toe footwear, headwear, mask or ventilator may be required on job sites.
- Must provide drivers abstract and pass a background check

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
