Dog Kennel Attendant

Are you passionate about animals? We are currently looking for Kennel Staff committed to ensuring our Dogs and Cats have the best experience whilst in our care. We strive to give the owners peace of mind whilst their Pets are in care.

As a Kennel Attendant, Cleanliness is very important, being loving and kind towards animals, making sure their time with us is a fun filled experience. Working well within a team, but also confident working as an individual. A passion for learning. Must be able to work outside in all weathers.

**Your primary responsibilities will include**:
Feeding, exercising, cleaning, and administering medications if needed. Understanding the needs of each individual Dog / Cat.

Regularly cleaning kennels, bedding, play areas, and other spaces to maintain a healthy environment for the animals. Ensuring areas of the Facility are kept clean and Tidy. Preparing Kennels for Incoming Boarding Dogs/Cats as per schedule.

Observing animals for any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral changes. Reporting any concerns to the management.

Customer service is a must

**Qualifications**:
A passion for Animals.

Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, shelter, veterinary clinic, or similar setting is a plus but not required.

Ability to handle Large and Small breeds, temperament and physical limitations.

detail orientated, ability to follow specific instructions a must.

Excellent communication skills and listening skills.

Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
