Newmarket, Canada Stone Strong Construction Full time

We are a small construction company specializing in utility trenching, generator pads, emergency response excavation, EV chargers, site restores, and remediation. We are looking for an **Heavy Equipment** **Operator** to join us.

Pay is based on experience, ranging between $30-$35 per hour based on skill level.

This is **not **the type of job where you'll be sitting in a machine all day. Here are the responsibilities of the job:
**Responsibilities / Duties**:

- Safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment
- Performs daily safety and maintenance checks
- Other labour duties as assigned, must be also willing to get your hands dirty outside of the machine at times.
- Load and unload material, tools and equipment into vehicles and trailers required at construction sites each morning.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
- Cleaning debris and removing waste materials from sites
- Miscellaneous tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid DZ license a huge asset.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willing to work long hours Monday to Friday.
- Able to meet at our yard each morning (located in Queensville) for loading and unloading the trucks, machines, materials and trailers for the day’s projects.
- As a small team, we will need you to be willing to get your hands dirty and complete work outside of the machine at times.

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newmarket, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
