Bakery Clerk

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for taking customer orders, getting orders ready and bringing to customer via stairs.
- Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area (ie. Sweep, mop, clean dishes)
- Package and label bakery products
- Provide excellent customer service by answering customer inquiries and assisting with their bakery needs
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles for Farmer's Market setups.

Qualifications:

- Basic math skills to accurately measure ingredients and calculate quantities
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and inventory management is a plus
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-25 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

- Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Beaumont, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
