Job Summary:
As a print finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that printed materials meet quality standards and are ready for distribution. Your primary duties will include operating finishing equipment, such as cutting machines, binders, and folding machines, to complete the final stages of the printing process. You will work closely with other members of the printing team to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of printed materials.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operating Finishing Equipment: Operate cutting machines, binders, folding machines, laminators, and other finishing equipment to complete the final stages of the printing process.
- Quality Control: Inspect printed materials for defects, such as misprints, smudges, or color inconsistencies. Ensure that finished products meet quality standards before packaging and distribution.
- Trimming and Cutting: Trim excess material from printed sheets using cutting machines. Ensure accurate cutting according to specified dimensions.
- Binding: Perform binding operations, such as stapling, stitching, or gluing, to assemble printed materials into finished products, such as booklets, brochures, or catalogs.
- Folding: Operate folding machines to fold printed materials according to specified configurations. Ensure precise folding to meet customer requirements.
- Packaging: Package finished products for distribution, ensuring proper labeling and protection to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on finishing equipment to ensure proper functioning. Report any malfunctions or issues to maintenance staff for repairs.

**Requirements**:

- Experience: Previous experience as a print finisher or in a similar role within the printing industry is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating finishing equipment, such as cutting machines, binders, and folding machines. Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct quality issues. Ensure accuracy in trimming, folding, and binding operations.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
