**Business Systems Analyst - Salesforce Support**

**About this Opportunity**:

- Business Systems Analysts within the Information Technology team are the catalysts for transformation and strategic advantage in Just Energy. As part of a resource pool for all functional areas of the company, the analyst gains exposure to varied aspects of this cutting-edge energy retail business, opening doors to an array of growth-oriented roles in the company. **Your key accountabilities**:

- Monitor production activities/processes to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems to internal and external clients, technical resources, and executives.
- Implement continuous process improvement, including but not limited to policy, problem resolution procedures, and production monitoring. Take proactive steps to create and enhance tools and reports to help monitor, manage and report on the day to day.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen effective relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
- Perform after-hours health checks and troubleshooting as needed and ability to stay on-call on a rotational basis.
- Create, maintain and execute test plans that ensure tools or software packages function correctly before they are released into production.
- Help facilitate planned or unplanned system outages varying in purposes.
- Remain flexible with multiple shifting priorities and effectively function under deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Document business, functional, and technical requirements for implementing solutions to support business strategies.
- Provide input and take actions to resolve escalated production issues. Take steps to minimize future issues.
- Create tools in various platforms (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) to help manage the day-to-day responsibilities or create reports for various functional areas.

**Your background includes**:

- Undergraduate degree preferably of a technical or engineering orientation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business systems analysis or a similar technical role, with 2-3 years of experience working in Salesforce environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Support role.
- Hands on experience working with the Salesforce ecosystem including knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning UI.
- Experience using Salesforce products to develop client or business solutions - configuring Salesforce CRM products, modifying screens, changing workflows, validation rules, security controls, data analysis, and reporting.
- Proven effectiveness at managing multiple tasks of varying complexities, meeting tight deadlines and working well under pressure.
- Ability to actively listen, visualize and brainstorm with customers to create optimal solutions to complex business problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with experience writing business requirements, user stories and use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Self-starter, results-oriented and motivated with excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Experience as part of an Agile Team (in a distributed setting in multiple geographic locations) with demonstrated understanding of the Agile mindset would be a desired skill.
