Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of FP&A will be a key partner to the business through supporting the strategic planning, leading the annual budgets and quarterly forecast processes, as well as providing insights to the Executive Leadership Team to make data-driven decisions with more efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast processes by collaborating with cross functional leaders
- Partner with executives to identify KPIs that measure performance; track and report results on an ongoing basis
- Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis to present results, trends and actionable insights to the executive leadership team, our investors and board of directors
- Work cross functionally with RevOps to maintain and improve our SaaS metrics reporting
- Collaborate with executives to prepare quarterly Board meeting discussion materials and any other external stakeholder type of presentations
- Partner with finance team peers on finance operations and make process improvement recommendations as necessary
- Develop, retain and attract a collaborative and impactful FP&A team
- Provide ad hoc analytical support to cross functional leaders to enable them to make data-driven decisions
- Partner with Product Go-to-Market team to create business cases for new product launches
- Support financing and M&A processes and responsible for financial diligence and coordination with relevant stakeholders

Qualifications.

The successful person in this role will have a high level of financial and business acumen, strong analytical mindset and understanding of growth & efficiency drivers of a tech / SaaS business. Other experience that will impactful include:

- 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with at 3+ years in a management role
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or relevant field
- Prior work transactional experience in corporate finance, investment banking or M&A advisory a plus
- SaaS industry experience is preferred, with in-depth knowledge of SaaS metrics
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical and detailed information to non-finance professionals; “speaks business, not numbers”
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, understand their requirements, instill confidence, and build an environment that fosters growth and inclusion
- Exceptional financial modeling skills with an ability to create sustainable and reliable models to enable better understanding and decision making
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- High attention to detail, ability to “deep dive” and desire to establish best practices in a maturing organization
- Self starter, autonomous and ability to deal with ambiguity and change
- Experience with Netsuite, FP&A tools (e.g. Adaptive Planning) and with BI tools (plus (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc), an asset
