We are seeking a **Project Administrator,** a team player who is committed to accountability, safety, and a strong work ethic, as we strive to set the standard of excellence every day. This position will be primarily based out of our **Kamloops** location, however travel throughout British Columbia, such as to Prince George, may be required.

The Project Administrator will provide many levels of operations support, to the General Manager. Effective communication skills and attention to detail and deadlines in order to meet the expectations of our customers on time, and on budget, is essential.

Additional responsibilities include attending project start-up meetings, providing assistance to the bid preparation, ensuring accuracy prior to the submission, and assisting with project financials, invoicing, estimates, construction schedules, project executions, and close outs.

**Skills & Experience**
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, or working towards this designation, would be an _asset._
- Previous experience working in a project management support role is **_preferred._**:

- Previous experience participating in the bid process, and using bid-software, would be an _asset._
- Previous customer relations experience is _required._
- Strong proficiency with MS Office suite and Excel is _required_, scheduling and project management software, is an _asset._
- Previous power line/electrical experience is an_ asset._
- Industry knowledge such as understanding single lines and terminology, is an _asset._
- Strong communication (verbal & written), leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented with the ability to interpret and effectively manage competing priorities and timelines.
- Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolution skills.
- Other industry related certifications are considered _assets._

Additional Work requirements
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and fairly clean drivers abstract.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- _Must have clean criminal record to access Canada’s rail lines._
- Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Travel to construction site locations will be required.
