Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to their desired destinations
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their luggage and ensuring a comfortable ride
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Collect fares and provide accurate change to passengers
- Keep records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger trips
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers to receive trip assignments and updates

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a taxi driver, bus driver, paratransit driver, delivery driver, or van driver is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with passengers from diverse backgrounds
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $10.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Tips
