Red Seal Journeyman Rate $39.12 / hour (+ night shift 10% premium)
Shifts available:

- Day Shift Mon-Thurs 5:30am-4:00pm

- Night Shift Mon - Thurs 4:00pm-2:30am
Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance** **and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a** J**ourneyman **Fabricator**/Fitter** for the **Langley** manufacturing team. This position will report to the **General Foreman**.

What you will do:

- Read and interpret blueprints
- Plan the sequence of tasks and assemble parts according to drawings
- Fabricate steel weldments and use measuring instruments
- Assemble and fit metal sections and plates together to form complete units or sub-units
- Fasten components together (by tack weld) in preparation for a welder to complete the process
- Ensure product quality
- Operates and uses various other tools and hand grinders
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment at all times
- Ensures workmanship throughout the manufacturing process and on finished goods meets or exceeds the cost, quality and schedule expectations of all customers.
- Active participation in WBM Safety Program, ensuring that workplace safety exists at all times
- Other duties as required

Your qualifications:

- Red Seal Certified or an equivalent certification in Fabrication or Welding
- 4+ years experience in Fabrication or Welding
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous quality
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving skills to methodically and logically work through problems
- Be proficient in the use of all tools common to the fabrication shop environment

- Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 35 kg.
