The duties of staff on the Business Support team are comprised of important clerical, July 27, 2023 administrative and organizational tasks that are essential to the overall operation of the Location: organization and the success of its programs. They will use their strong interpersonal skills as they interact with co-workers, managers, clients, and the general public. Staff on the Business Support team will use their attention to detail, accuracy, problem solving St. Thomas skills and creativity as they complete their assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Duties include but not limited to: Wage:

- Booking appointments and workshop registration Hours:

- Responsible for monitoring, responding or distributing messages from various 8:30-4:30 M-F, online Employment Services Elgin accounts possibility of part time option
- Assist clients with various aspects of job search and access to community (May be some evening and resources through Resource and Information function of the organization. weekend work)
- Maintain job boards (physical and digital) and other information on display in the

**Education**:
Resource and Information area Post Secondary and/or
- Word processing and development of various documents and resources Related Work Experience
- Record keeping and data entry with various internal, online, and ministry databases Other:

- Track and record program statistical information and develop reports
- Retrieve information as necessary from databases
- Process paperwork for various programs and liaise with appropriate staff from other teams as necessary
- Perform client follow-ups for various programs and document the results

Other Requirements according to policy Clear Vulnerable
- Audit files to ensure all documentation is included, complete and in the proper Sector Screening order
- Verification of full

Required skills: vaccination for
COVID-19
- Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Excel and Word.
- Ability to learn industry specific software quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
