Contributes to the overall success of the Collections in multiple countries including Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos, and Uruguay by supporting daily Production activities and Project initiatives as per the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensure that all activities conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
- Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
- Perform Production Support duties:
- Raise and detail incident information on BNS Service Now
- Communicate incident details to external partner systems as needed
- Work with team members to triage incidents
- Resolve incidents to minimize impact to operations
- e.g., Transfer files as needed, Assist with work arounds procedures as needed
- Update knowledge base / reference documentation as needed
- Fulfil Service Requests
- e.g., Set up / maintain user access, Retrieve voice recordings from database
**Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have**:
- Post-secondary degree at a recognized institution
- Expereince with SQL Databases, EDL, EDW, Azure
- SFTP, Telnet, Windows and Linux / Unix
- Diagnosing problems: Desktop PCs, networks, system access, Windows and Linux servers
- Production Support and related tools e.g. Service Now
- Communicates effectively in English and Spanish e.g. can articulate technical issues to business users
- Attention to detail e.g. writes accurate incident reports and technical support documents,
- Possess problem-solving skills working within finite timeframes
