**Hotel Overview**

The Pan Pacific Toronto Hotel (formerly The Prince Hotel) offers the best of both worlds - a welcoming oasis of calm amid the urban landscape. An exquisite property with 409 intimate guest rooms and 30,000 square feet of meeting space, two restaurants and a lounge in North Toronto, we are uniquely positioned to host a broad range of corporate, government, and leisure groups.

**Daily Tasks**
- Provide all guests, vendors and employees with friendly and processional services in a timely manner
- Assisting in maintain secure assets, minimizing outstanding receivables and investment in inventories.
- Verifying accurate and efficient financial statements and night audit postings.
- Prepare daily operating reports and reconciling the PMS reports with the Daily Sales report at the end of the month.
- Processes petty cash receipts on a regular basis and informs management of any deviations to policy.
- Process due backs on a timely basis.
- Maintains a complete record of all funds transferred to and from the bank i.e., coin orders, etc.
- Ensures adequate controls on the General Cashier’s funds in accordance with the hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of cashier supplies including deposit envelopes, credit card vouchers and other printed materials.
- Assisting with directing and coordinating the activities of all assigned associates and departmental responsibilities.
- Approving all disbursement vouchers.
- Performing House Bank audits, on a surprise and monthly basis.
- Maintain and ensure the security of the safe and its combination. Immediately notifying Controller of any security breaches.

**Qualifications**
- 1-3years Night Audit/ Guest service experience Required
- Minimum of 1 year of hotel experience in Front Desk in a hotel or related industry
- 1-2 accounting experience
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office are required and knowledge of "Opera" is an asset
- Familiarity with Canadian and provincial accounting law
- Detail oriented, highly organized, energetic and outgoing, with a positive attitude, driven to provide outstanding guest service.
- Must be able to work in night shifts, weekends & Holidays
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Very strong oral and written communication skills required
