Billing Clerk

1) Assist with the rating and billing of truckload and less than truckload freight.
- **Core duties**:_
- Tracking proof of deliveries
- Collecting and processing proof of deliveries
- Scanning paper copies of proof of deliveries
- Rating and approving freight bills
- Working internally with terminal or customer service staff to approve detention or other accessorial charges
- Reviewing and confirming accuracy of scanned documents
- Following up with drivers and consignees for documents necessary in the billing process
- Updating supporting spreadsheets in excel
- **Qualifications**:_
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong computer skills working with accounting software
- Experience in trucking industry considered an asset
- Billing experience considered an asset
- Experience in trucking industry considered an asset
