**Medical Laboratory Assistant**:
**(Permanent Part-Time)**

Temiskaming Hospital is a 59-bed fully accredited community hospital located in Temiskaming Shores, ON. We are currently accepting resumes for a permanent part-time Medical Laboratory Assistant.

The Medical Laboratory Assistant is responsible for a combination of duties including specimen procurement and processing and clerical tasks. May perform technical procedures under the supervision of a Medical Laboratory Technologist in compliance with current legislation and Hospital procedure.

**Requirements include**:

- Graduate of an approved course for Medical Laboratory Assistant / Technician (MLA/T).
- Registered with College of Medical Laboratory Professionals of Ontario.
- Must have an excellent work record, including attendance.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to ensure personal safety, the safety of fellow workers patients, volunteers and visitors.

**Assets**:

- Recent experience in a Laboratory department.
- Oral proficiency in French at an advanced or superior level
