Job Title: Groundskeeper

Employment Type: Seasonal

Compensation Type: Hourly

St. Charles Country Club is a 27-hole, private country club, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are seeking individuals for the 2024 season who are energetic, reliable, team-oriented, and hard working. We provide a fun and positive environment and culture to work in and be a part of. You will work with the maintenance team to provide general care, maintenance and course set up of all golf course features. The club is also undergoing a 9-hole renovation project. This will see large construction taking place on that nine, with their possibly being some opportunity to assist in that project. We, at St. Charles, are a golfer’s club, with outstanding course conditioning and playability. We create memorable experiences in a relaxing environment.

**Duties**:

- Routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance, including but not exclusive to:

- Raking and maintenance of sand traps
- Mowing and maintenance of greens, tees, fairways and rough
- Sodding and other course projects
- Trimming and weeding
- Work on our renovation project
- Performs any other related duties as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent or management team

**Requirements**:

- Reliable transportation
- Available to work early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with fellow staff members
- Attention to detail, self-motivated
- Demonstrates knowledge and safety while using equipment
- Golf experience is an asset, but NOT required

Compensation

Wage starting at $15.30. Golfing privileges are available to employees
