**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of CNC machining process.
- 5-axis CNC machining experience an asset.
- Knowledge of Tebis CAM software an asset.
- Knowledge of Automotive industry equipment, hydraulic and mechanical stamping presses, lasers, robots, welders, CNC equipment, etc. an asset.
- Background in automotive tooling
- Able to work to blueprints, sketches, verbal instructions.
- Experience with manual machine tools and other standard toolroom equipment.
- Experience with robotic/automated work cells.
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to multi-task.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support R&D projects
- Create CNC programs from CAD.
- Set-up and operate 5-axis CNC machining equipment.
- Design, build, service, install and test new or existing equipment or tooling, and verify conformance to specifications.
- Set-up and operate other manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshooting of process problems. Perform work/improvements as required to maintain Promatek standards of quality.
- Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area and perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with the safety policies of Promatek.
- Carry out preventative maintenance activities.
- Assist with the preparation of quotations and job costing.
- Ensure that the delivery on all projects is to the appropriate levels of quality, engineering level, on time and within the budget.
- Prepare and maintain applicable documentation:

- Tooling drawings, specification, procedures, maintenance logs, etc.
- Able to complete hands on work requiring heavy lifting.
- Support and participate in all continuous improvement projects.
- Liaison with internal and external customers.
- Promote, monitor and maintain good housekeeping (5S).
- Other duties as required.
