**Job Requirements**:
In this role, **MATRIX** is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for our **MLA** Camp** located in the Kitikmeot Region, Nunavut. You are team oriented, motivated, and have acute attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent time management skills. You will play a key role at one of our remote exploration camps by performing all primary housekeeping responsibilities in a timely manner. This position reports to the Camp Manager. **Start date for this position is as soon as possible.**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures.
- Report all incidents and accidents immediately.
- Practice good housekeeping in the work area at all times.
- Participate in daily Toolbox meetings.
- Perform cleaning and sanitization of all surfaces, equipment and small wares as per the Food Safety Plan.
- Wash and replace bed linens as required.
- Clean and sanitize Dry Areas.
- Clean common spaces at work site, TV room, dining room, laundry rooms, washrooms etc.

**Required Knowledge & Experience**
- Minimum of two (2) years/seasons working in a remote camp as a Housekeeper
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- OFA Level 1 is preferred (not required)
- Highly motivated, team-oriented individual with attention to detail.
- Ability to work a rotational schedule (3 weeks on / 3 weeks off, 12 hour days)
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, safely.
- Able to lift and move heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform physical labor.
- Able to maintain a high level of performance over a 10 - 12 hour shift.

Day rate $285, based on 12 hour shifts

Rotation is 3 weeks in / 3 weeks out
