Atome Bakery is a rapidly growing online bakery dedicated to delivering high-quality, ready-to-bake sourdough bread and pastries across British Columbia and beyond. We pride ourselves on combining traditional baking techniques with modern convenience, and every team member plays a key role in our continued success.

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with mixing, shaping, and proofing sourdough bread and pastries.
- Refresh sourdough starters
- Work alongside bakers to prepare croissants, pain au chocolat, and other artisan pastries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery workspace and clean dishes.
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure proper food handling.
- Assist with other bakery tasks as needed, such as packaging and labeling.

**Qualifications**:

- Mandatory: must be able to repetitively lift 20kg and work standing up
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production setting is an asset but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise recipes.
- Passion for baking and a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
- FOODSAFE certification is an asset.

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
