**Duties & Responsibilities**:
All duties and responsibilities below are in no particular order as may be defined as per safe and efficient operational process:

- Provide business updates to Terminal Manager on a regular basis
- Interact with customer and CN to coordinate the most efficient utilization of rail siding
- Monitor inventory of Rail, Yard Tank, and other Seaboard assets
- Coordinate the delivery and unload of dry bulk products from the rail siding
- Generate month end inventory report for the entire tank farm
- Reporting any safety incidents to Health and Safety Department as well as Human Resources
- Coordinate Rail Yard and warehouse activity
- Interact with dispatchers regarding loads
- Delegate yard labour
- Scheduling maintenance of equipment
- Inspect Rail siding and generate report on corrective actions - once trained on rail inspection
- Order and release Rail car’s
- Provide superior service to internal and external customers
- Uphold company safety policies and programs as well as the implementation of new programs and policies
- Manage employee qualifications and training to ensure employees are correctly qualified for work performed
- Coordinate and/or facilitate any training sessions required to perform on-site duties in a safe manner
- Responsible for day-to-day management of labourers
- Set day-to-day priorities, hours of work, and workload for team
- Participating in new hire interviews and coordination of new hire training
- Other duties as required

**Job Requirements**:

- Previous rail experience
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Certification to operate 6,300,000 BTU boiler (special operators course certified or certified engineer course) required
- Safety focused attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven mentor with the ability to orientate, train, delegate and provide periodic reviews of employees and deliver input to Terminal Manager on any course of corrective action or beneficial measures that may be needed
- Mechanically inclined
- Proven problem solver
- Previous dangerous goods transloading
- Experienced in RCM, wheel loader and skid steer operation
