**Job Overview**
**Major Responsibilities**
- Record day to day financial transactions in a timely manner
- Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner
- Accounts receivable collection calls
- Keeping accounts current and reconciling account differences
- Enter data and maintain records
- Preparing invoices to be mailed out to customers
- Preparing financial reports by analyzing, collecting, and condensing account trends and information
- Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
**Additional Responsibilities**
- Resolving administrative issues as needed
- Any additional tasks or duties assigned by Supervisor or Management team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent time management skills with an outstanding ability to multi-task and prioritize
work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to exercise analytical thinking and decision making
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and can work well in a team setting
- Willing to comply with any additional training required by Bolton Railings Inc.
**Requirements**:
- Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or similar discipline
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bolton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
- Accounts Receivable: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounts Payables: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
