We are a sod farm located in Prince Edward County about 15 minutes south of the bay bridge. We boast a fun, welcoming work environment and incredible team of people for you to call coworkers. **The Company**:

We have about 25 staff involved in a number of areas including the install crew, grading teams, hydroseeding, and farm operations. We believe in great people accomplishing great things.

**The Position**:
You will be expected to
- Operate tractor trailer/ tandem delivery trucks in LTL situations - each truck has its own forklift
- Operate dump trucks
- Load and unload your truck in different weather and traffic conditions
- Assist in other farm operations - that might include helping with the installation of sod, the operation of farm equipment, helping with the maintenance of equipment etc.

**Your Skills**:
We need someone who:

- Has at least 2 years of LTL driving experience
- Valid AZ licence
- Can operate forklifts in a variety of conditions

Typically you’ll work about 45-50 hours a week. We are aiming to have a start date of May 3. It could be earlier or later depending on weather. We will work until the ground freezes, normally around November and sometimes later in the year if possible.

Each day you will deliver sod to a different jobsites and vendors anywhere between Port Hope and Gananoque and sometimes as far north as Bancroft. You will load and unload your truck using a forklift in different traffic and weather conditions.

Contract length: 9 months

**Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
