Côté Gold is being developed in partnership with the Mattagami First Nation, Flying Post First Nation and Métis Nation of Ontario, Region 3.

The open-pit gold mine is a joint venture between IAMGOLD and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. and is operated by IAMGOLD. We are located near Gogama, Ontario, with access to stable infrastructure and strong connections with our local communities.

**Accessing Opportunities at Côté Gold**

**CAMP SUPERVISOR**
- The Camp Supervisor will oversee the operation of the camp, which includes overseeing the camp catering and managing the contractor that is providing all camp-related services. They will deliver a safe and healthy camp environment by maintaining a high approval rating on meals, lodging, amenities and cleanliness.

**Key Responsibilities**

Area 1:
Lead and coordinate camp contracts and resources.
- Provide clear expectations of the performance levels required to achieve safety, schedule and cost objectives.
- Coordinate camp contract resources (people and equipment).
- Promote a high performance culture for contractors by setting expectations, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback and coaching.
- Administer and comply with system requirements in a manner consistent with policies, procedures and regulations.
- Perform worksite inspections and safe work observations; participate in and lead investigations.
- Review of invoices received from camp and other related service providers for accuracy and approval for payment
- Liaise with managers regarding occupancy requirements and plan to accommodate accordingly.
- Actively involved in budget control for the Cote Gold Camp.

Area 2:
Operational excellence.
- Monitor camp service providers to ensure work is performed according to the contract and to the required quality standards
- Schedule routine inspections of all accommodations, kitchen facilities, dining rooms and other camp areas to confirm proper cleaning and all facilities are in good order and in good repair.
- Coordinate maintenance of facilities as required.
- Inspect dormitories and sanitary facilities to confirm conditions and in good repair
- Regularly check of sanitary procedures compliance.
- Check meals daily for taste, texture and appearance and implement quality improvement action as required.
- Conduct periodic satisfaction surveys of camp residents, visitors & manager to identify opportunities to improve.
- Be alert at all times for any additional opportunities for improvement and take the required actions to capture the identified opportunities.
- Seek opportunities to improve camp conditions.
- Be proactive and solution driven and implement operational improvements.
- Commit to continuous learning and improvement.
- Continually seek to improve your skills as a Camp Supervisor.
- Work collaboratively to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Consider risk amongst the five dimensions (production, time, quality, sustainability and cost).

Area 3:
Work collaboratively with others to deliver operational reliability.
- Provide leadership and direction to the various stakeholders to ensure that the camp objectives are met.
- Foster an inclusive work environment.
- Coordinate with other team members on site to meet deliverables.
- Mentor and train new team members.
- Participate in and lend your expertise to the team.
- Communicate clearly and effectively using the tools provided.
- Ensure equipment logs and shift logs are accurate and complete. Review contractor time sheets.
- Ensure any deficiencies are communicated to the appropriate team members for follow up.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on our commitment to our team, our communities, the environment, and our shareholders.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements and Nice To Haves**

minimum qualifications, formal education, certifications or equivalents- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Ministry Supervisor Training is considered an asset.

Work experience - Nature & Length
- 5 or more years of camp management experience.
- Previous exposure to transportation management is considered an asset.

Additional qualifications - Competency requirements
- Demonstrated ability to engage and empower multi-disciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of camp management and transportation best practices.
- Proven communication skills, both verbal, written and non-verbal.
- Previous exposure to multi-disciplinary team leadership is desirable, but not essential.
- Computer proficiency.
- Understand efficiency drivers in camp management.
