**General Laborer**:

- **Sorting**_
- Sort pallets, and other goods into appropriate stacks after inspecting, and determining the need for recycling, dismantling or disposal.
- **Repair**_
- Inspects pallets visually for damage and defects.
- Remove damaged boards with crowbar and dispose of broken pieces on conveyor.
- Ensure Pallet is repaired to the proper specification and quality.
- **Cutting**_
- Cut lumber to specified lengths in specific quantities.
- Continually inspect lumber throughout cutting process to ensure lumber meets spec and order requirements.
- Dismantle pallets using a bandsaw and robot machine, then organize and stack the wood by specs.
- **Build**_
- Carefully read and understand pallet blueprints and use them as a pallet building guide.
- Accurately determine the size of nails required to fasten different parts of the pallet based on the thickness of the wood.

**HOURS**:
**Day Shift**

Monday to Thursday 5:00 am to 1:15pm; & Friday 5:00am to 1:30 pm

**Weekends Off**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience using hand tools is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted, lifting is a regular activity
- Must have steel toed boots/shoes ( Green Seal CSA Approved )
- Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle ( there is no adequate public transit to our location )
