We are seeking a Foreman III Trades (with TQ) to Lead the Production & Repair (P&R) department within PNE Facilities & Maintenance. The Production & Repair department supports the production of the PNE’s events along with the repairs & enhancements to maintain the look, function, and safety of the PNE’s Historical Sites & Grounds.

This position oversees Carpentry, Painting, Signs and Production & Repair technicians collectively support the event conversions and the site maintenance & repairs. The Foreman III Trades will report to the Maintenance Manager providing operational support to Conversions for event productions and support Building Repairs & Civil Grounds Maintenance tasks, PMs and project-based work as assigned where applicable on and throughout all the PNE Facilities on the PNE grounds.

**What will you do this year?**

In your role as a **Production & Repair Foreperson III**, your primary accountabilities will be to:

- Lead the Production & Repair (P&R) team within PNE & Playland Facilities & Maintenance with specific trade tasks & project-based work as assigned on and throughout all the PNE Facilities on the PNE grounds.
- Plan and organize the workload for the teams that aligns with operational objectives.
- Run monthly safety toolbox talks with P&R Team and have signed copies returned.
- Oversee the safe vehicular operation and PM service of the P&R vehicle fleet.
- Ensure incident reports are completed should there be any on the P&R Team on site.
- Disseminate and complete Momentous and Limble WO’s supporting the stage activities.
- Complete periodic site inspections and Create Limble WOs for all repair work discovered.
- Assist with work set-up, completing projects and maintaining a safe clean work site.
- Operate vehicles and tools/equipment in compliance with all health and safety requirements as determined by WorkSafe, and all other applicable legislation and company policies.
- Operate mobile equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, zoom booms) safely and responsibly.
- Ensure completion of the P&R team’s daily timesheets.
- Support P&R Team and management with the operational scheduling of day-off requests.
- Perform related duties as assigned when required or requested by the Maintenance Manager.

**What else?**
- Must have Interprovincial Red Seal in a trade qualification.
- Must have 15 years or more experience in Building, Construction and Maintenance
- Must have at least 15 years of hands-on tools and general repair experience.
- Must have at least 5 years of previous experience supervising large teams, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Ability to operate a variety of tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Must have excellent communication skills to foster effective relationships with staff, guests, and managers.
- Support the other Facility and Maintenance dept teams where applicable.
- A valid 5th class BC Driver’s license and the ability to provide a clear and up-to-date Driver's Abstract is required.
- Forklift experience and operator’s license and asset.
- Must be capable of maneuvering heavy equipment on own or with assistance.
- Must be physically able to work in awkward positions.
