Etobicoke, Canada Crescent Moon Transport Inc. Full time

**Great opportunity for drivers with minimum of 3 year of actual AZ driving experience **Crescent Moon Transport is seeking a self-motivated transport truck driver to transport goods and materials. _**Must have clean CVOR and driving records - No more than one minor convictions and 1-at fault.**_
- Pay is based on an hourly rate of $25 per hour which includes stops and possible wait time. Expected monthly mileage is around between 9,000 to max of 11,000 for a total annual pay range of $52,000 to $65,088
- Day will start from Etobicoke and will travel out within Ontario
- Must have clean CVOR and driving records.

Responsibilities include:

- Operating and driving long haul trucks weighing over 4500 kg to transport goods and materials over long distances
- Planning and executing trip logistics and obtaining required documentation to transport goods
- Performing pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals and brakes
- Overseeing the loading and unloading of goods
- Ensuring cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and following safety procedures for transporting goods
- Recording cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Saving all invoices, bills and receipts and handing them in to the Director of Operations at the end of each day
- Administering bills of lading and manually or electronically maintaining log books
- Communicating with the Director of Operations, dispatcher, other drivers and customers (as required) using communication devices
- May perform emergency roadside repairs

Where you’ll be working

This position will be based out of the Etobicoke, Ontario and trips will originate from and conclude in Etobicoke, Ontario. A daily run consists of a go/back trip.

- A secondary school diploma or equivalent
- A valid Ontario CDL driver’s license (Class AZ)
- Three or more years of Canadian work experience (as a truck driver)
- A clean driving record
- A clean CVOR driver abstract
- Ability to work Monday through Friday
- A mobile (cell phone) with nationwide calling
- A current resume or CV
- A copy of your driver’s license
- A copy of your driving record (pulled within the last 30 days)
- A copy of the CVOR driver abstract (pulled within the last 30 days)
- To undergo and pass a driving test
- To undergo and pass a background check
- A valid SIN (Social Insurance Number)
- Proof validating the ability to work in Canada (e.g. passport, permanent resident card)
- A mobile number that will be used for communications
- Ontario business name and number, including articles of incorporation

Pay: $52,000.00-$65,088.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Canadian winter driving: 1 year (required)
- Ontario AZ Driving: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario AZ Driver's License (required)
- Canadian or Ontario company (are you incorporated) (required)
- GST/HST number (required)
