CPA Ontario is currently in search of a **Communications Specialist **who will be responsible for** **writing, editing and/or proofreading marketing and communications materials that are distributed to members, employers, students, and other key stakeholders.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
**Writing, editing and proofreading marketing and communications materials** for CPA Ontario’s various stakeholders. Subject matter will be varied and will include but not be limited to: information for members and students, sponsorship materials, marketing materials for professional development and student recruitment initiatives.

**Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships** with internal clients to provide them with communications support, as needed.

**Creating content for external and internal marketing and** **communications materials**, including website and social media content, and print documents.

**Who You Are**:
A post-secondary graduate preferably in English, Journalism, Communications or Public Relations with prior communications experience within a regulatory body, association, or member-focused organization.

Adept at content research and development, writing, proofreading, and editing.

An excellent communicator (verbal and written) with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and proven ability to work well with multiple departments and employees across the organization.

Experienced in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with strong organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines and changing expectations.

Able to demonstrate analytical skills with excellent attention to accuracy and detail.

A critical thinker with the ability to prioritize projects effectively while appropriately escalating concerns as necessary.
