We are a drive in lodge but if you do not have a car to get to Kenora, we can pick up from the Kenora bus station or Kenora airport.

Looking for a summer job that allows you to spend your free time out in nature on some of the most exclusive lakes in Lake of the Woods, but still close enough to go into "town" for lunch or a movie?

Employment Type: Full Time for the summer (40-45hr/week, working 6 days a week)

Hawk Lake Lodge is a 5-star Fishing Resort that provides guest with an all-inclusive American plan. We are seeking someone to help in a split role as a housekeeper and to help prepare guests lunches. You will be joining our team of 12-15 other staff, which includes a chef, dock hand/fishing guides, and other waitress/housekeepers.

It will vary, but a typical morning shift would be 6:00-10:30am, and then dinner shift from 5:00-8:30pm.

Most days your day would start with making sandwiches for upwards of 25 guests and ensuring bags are labeled and ready for pick up at 7am. Followed with some light kitchen duties, working with the team to do dishes, and cleaning up after the breakfast service.

Housekeeping duties: working with the team, providing housekeeping for the guest-cabins, which are in excellent condition. Changing out towels and bed linens as needed, cleaning bathrooms and kitchenette, basic tidying, dusting and vacuuming. Assist with washing the towels and linens. On rotation, you may be required to do basic cleaning of common areas such as the gym or game room.

In the evenings your primary role will include prepping your stations (making ice tea, prepping veggie bags, refiling sandwich station) and then starting the lunch bag packing (putting in beverages, chips, veggies, cookies, etc.) and getting everything lined up for the sandwiches to be put into the bags the next morning. During this evening shift you may be required to help the team with plating guest dinners, expediting dinner plates to guest, washing dishes, or cleaning up the staff kitchen in prep for staff dinner, and cleaning up after staff dinner.

Working 40-45/hr week

Onsite accommodations (private bedroom) and free wi-fi and free laundry. Meals included. Shared staff boats to fish and explore the lakes during your time off.
