Description:

- Manage, oversee, track and updated large complex projects, including the schedule and deliverables
- Work with project team to ensure successful delivery for the Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN) program.

**Skills**

- Develop project plans that identify resource, time, and budgetary needs.
- Host project meetings with team and managers.
- Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members.
- Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness.
- Track project milestones and assist in project acceptance
- Working with the client representatives and in partnership with other project managers to develop integrated plans
- Managing deliverables and dependencies that cross multiple in-flight projects
- Supporting the PSRN Program by proactively identifying, communicating, and managing multi-faceted client-facing risks and issues to deliver a superior customer service experience and to support efficient and effective project delivery.
- Interacting directly with ministry clients, business partners, and project team members to develop and maintain strong ongoing relationships, always looking for opportunities to improve client satisfaction
- Developing and presenting ministry-specific dashboards, reports, and other project management collateral
- Proactively identifying risks and issues pertaining to the assigned work package, report them to the overall Project Champions and the Portfolio Team. Identify and mitigate strategies and responses to the issues and risks.
- Managing vendors, stakeholders, and peer groups across ministries.
- Creating or supporting development of project artifacts, associated documentation, Briefing Notes, Change Requests, Contracts, Request for Bid (RFBs) etc.
- Ensure project implementation plans have no adverse impact to public safety operations.
- Financial management of project as necessary or if needed
- Developing complex network implementation and or transition and migration strategies with cross stream dependencies including vendor activities
- Developing and implementing network implementation and or transition plans
- Managing large-scale, complex, integrated project plans
- Knowledge of radio and/or telecommunications systems.
- Effective communication skills to take complex information and present issues in a clear logical manner.
- Identify and analyze issues and problems and make appropriate recommendations for resolutions.
- Experience with facilitating meetings and creating and managing associated documents including minutes and action items.
- Effective communication and consultation skills to build and manage relationships.
- Proficiency in creating and managing project schedules using MS Project and Excel.
- Knowledgeable in Project Management principles and methodologies.
- At least 7 years of experience in project management.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in managing large scale public safety radio or wireless telecommunication infrastructure projects.
- All roles procured are required to be cleared through the Contractor Security Clearance Process of the OPS.

Communication and Relationship Management:
Demonstrated experience to act independently and make decisions that achieve optimal results with mínimal supervision

Public safety radio or telecommunications infrastructure experience in a large public sector entity:
Experience with projects involving network design, network implementation, civil structures, user equipment distribution and operations.

Project Management Skills
- Demonstrated experience in managing project activities across multiple complex technology projects

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 36 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
