Established in 1964, Foothills Decorating is a Calgary based full service professional painting and decorating company that has been serving western Canada for >55 years. Foothills offers and specializes in a full range of finishes to new construction projects, renovations/additions and existing buildings in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors.

**The Opportunity - Junior Estimator**

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and provide take-off’s / estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Prepare project cost analysis; identify labor, material, and time requirements
- Lead the planning and implementation of project
- Assembles and coordinates project staff
- Manages project timelines, budget and resource allocation
- Quality assurance
- Project evaluations and assessment of results
- Support and effectively communicate with internal operations team
- Liaise, consult and communicate with clients

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an estimator in the commercial painting industry is essential.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in estimating.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Experience**:

- Construction: Minimum three (2) years
- Estimating: Minimum three (2) years
