Groundskeeper

We currently have openings seasonal Groundskeepers at our Highland Park Cemetery location, in West Ottawa.

Proudly serving our local and surrounding communities, we pride ourselves in providing quality and personalized services, coupled with caring and experienced professionals who look after families in need throughout our community. Pinecrest Remembrance Services continues its traditional of serving families by expanding further in Ottawa’s west end by opening a new funeral home location, celebration center and cemetery office at our ever-expanding Highland Park Cemetery. We are proudly celebrating out 100th anniversary this year.

Job description:
We pride ourselves in keeping our grounds clean, manicured, and looking their best. This is a seasonal position that starts immediately and continues until November/December.

All safety equipment is provided, as well as training.

A groundskeeper is responsible for a number or tasks including, but not limited to:

- Grass cutting
- Grass trimming
- Soft landscaping
- Light landscaping
- General/other duties

**Requirements**:

- Strong work ethic
- Able to work in a team environment as well as alone
- Valid driver’s license
- Pesticide Applicator license (preferred, but not required)

Complimentary lunches are provided bi-monthly

**Job Type**: Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$21.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Carp, ON K0A 1L0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario G class driver's license? (required)
