- Successful completion of advanced level Excel course or equivalent advanced level knowledge;
- A minimum of two (2) years recent experience in a scheduling environment, preferably in health

care;
- Payroll knowledge and experience an asset;

- Proficient keyboarding skills with a demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet/Intranet functions;
- Demonstrated knowledge and use of equipment used in an office environment.(Fax, copier, etc.);
- Excellent interpersonal and interdepartmental communication skills

- Recognizes and respects need for strict confidentiality;

**ACCOUNTABILITIES (Major Responsibilities of the Position)**
- Documents call-ins and in collaboration with the unit, determines whether or not a replacement staff is needed;
- Completes calls for long term and/or short call staffing needs to meet unit needs;
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy in StaffRight to ensure payroll is complete and accurate;
- Responsible for assisting with StaffRight data entry including, but not limited to, entering of accurate payroll codes, assignment changes, responsibility person assignment, mutual requests, individual requests for vacation, stat, and lieu time, LOA requests, sick time, bereavement, entering modified work plans - assuring modified and paid hours are correct;
- Ensures the provisions of the ONA, OPSEU, and CLAC Collective Agreements are adhered to.
