We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator to join our team. The role will be responsible for maintaining an open communication with the warehouse staff, carriers, vendors, and customers regarding inbound and outbound shipments, tracking metric volumes within the warehouse, balancing inventory levels, etc.

**Job Duties**:

- Maintain an open communication with warehouse staff, carriers, vendors, and customers regarding inbound and outbound shipments
- Maintain delivery appointment schedule for inbound shipments
- Follow up on shipments to ensure timeliness and assist arranging alternate carriers if needed
- Interact with inbound/outbound carriers and providing them with the appropriate documentation
- Maintain/track metric volumes and efficiencies within the warehouse
- Monitor inventory accuracy through regularly scheduled cycle counts and facility specific warehouse reports
- Assist with processing packages for shipment via courier when needed
- Balance inventory levels
- Manage orders based on production capacities
- Provide administrative assistance to the operations management team
- Resolve issues or discrepancies in shortages in customer shipments/deliveries as identified by Customer Service
- Prepare shipping documents and workload for floor associates
- Update material and customer information
- Generate activity and utilization reports daily, weekly, and monthly
- Ensure that drivers depart with appropriate paperwork
- Gather, enter data into warehouse management system, and maintain all data and records relative to shipping activities

**Job Requirements**:

- High School Diploma and / or equivalent
- 3+ years of administrative experience in a warehouse/distribution environment
- PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Efficient time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrate strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities to meet tight deadlines
- Willing to work overtime when needed
- Other duties may be assigned as required in the role
