Responsibilities:

- Developing, implement, manage and evaluate high-quality, outcome-based family service programming within Sunchild CFS and the surrounding communities.
- Oversees the day-to-day operation of protection department and ensure compliance with all legislative requirements
- Advocate for and respond to family, child & youth client needs/desires and other influences.
- Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and stakeholders
- Attend Child and Family Services (CFS) case conferencing.
- Ensure critical incidents are reported and managed accordingly.
- Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions for new employees foe Caseworkers/Generalist
- Some travel may be required.
- Other duties assigned.

- Excellent supervisory skills to lead and motivate a team
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and stakeholders
- Being able to relate to someone's situation and being willing to help
- Culturally competent and sensitive approach to people management.
- Skilled in change management and project management.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Social Work, Child & Youth Work, Psychology or other related field
- 3 - year management experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification
- Valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Check

**Salary**: $72,000.00-$81,000.00 per year
