**You as an Envelope Assistant-Superintendent will**:

- Assist the Superintendent in managing work on site to ensure the compliance of construction with the drawings and specifications
- Support the Superintendent in planning and implementing schedules, determining manpower levels, material quantities, inspections, equipment, and requirements are maintained
- Monitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are being followed
- Advise the Superintendent and Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving these problems
- Maintain and analyze up-to-date cost reports and submit necessary changes to ensure the project is delivered within budget
- Meet with Owners, Consultants, and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company

**Is this the right role for you?**
- You have a construction related degree and 4 to 7 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience working on large commercial projects (P3, Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Mission Critical, Retail & Transit or Healthcare).
- You have knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control and engineering drawings.
- You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes, produce workable solutions and lead a large team to successful completion.
- You enjoy working in a team environment and providing mentorship and guidance to the site team.
- You have knowledge of weather barriers, air barriers, & thermal barriers.
- You have a technical understanding of different envelope systems and how they interface with adjacent systems including but not limited to specialty glazing systems, precast, cladding assemblies, roofing and waterproofing systems.
- You have experience in identifying and addressing project risk as it relates to construction of the building envelope.
