The Junior Buyer reports directly to the Director of Procurement.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Developing project specifications with our Sales and Technical team.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors.
- Preparing detailed RFQ’s for Import and Domestic vendors. Suppliers located internationally
- Learn to Negotiate contracts, including pricing, terms, quality, and delivery.
- Using MS Excel to land pricing and determine an appropriate sell price to market conditions.
- Planning, managing, and coordinating all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of gift packaging
- Managing and organizing of shipments (importing and exporting) for projects
- Determining the most efficient means of transportation and evaluating freight costs.
- Reviewing artwork for accuracy.
- Inventory Replenishment
- Co-ordinate Fulfillment
- Manage Overprint orders
- Project manage import and domestic orders
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree required; and preference given to applicants who also have accredited Purchasing or Supply Chain Management education (PMAC and SCMA)
- Experienced in Corrugated, Paper folding, and rigid boxes is an asset
- Ability to Read Die-lines and/or artwork
- Must have advanced skills in MS Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Functions well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
- Ability to travel is a must (when safe to do so) and work full-time with variable hours
- Mandarin is an asset
