**Job Summary**:
The principal responsibilities of the Quality Inspector are to ensure the products manufactured meet the requirements defined by the company and civil aviation regulations and engaging in related Continual Improvement activities within the Company.

**Responsibilities**:
A Receiving Quality Inspector has the following responsibilities:

- Carry out inspections on incoming parts for aircraft production and maintenance.
- Verification of the part quality, traceability, and documentation.
- Identify and control non conformances in accordance with the approved procedures.
- Coordinate the various inspection programs with other affected departments.
- Recommend improved procedures and methods that which would improve the quality and economic efficiency of the company.
- Initiate, investigate and participate in corrective and preventative action to address product, process, and system non-conformances.
- Ensure all quality records, reports and forms are properly executed before approval.
- Ensure parts are properly identified as outlined in procedures.
- Ensure rejected and unserviceable parts are handled in such a way as to prevent their reuse as serviceable parts.
- Perform all work in accordance with Health and Safety policies.
- Assist the Quality Assurance department in maintaining the production control and quality assurance systems.
- Perform such other work as requested.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years aircraft maintenance/manufacturing experience required.
- Technical knowledge of materials and processes used in aviation.
- Knowledge and experience with production of aeronautical products.
- Experience in reading and interpreting drawings.
- Proficient in MS Office products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present ideas and give instructions/guidance to production co-workers.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively.
- High School diploma.
- Proficient in interpreting drawings, internal and regulatory specification requirements.
- Ability to read and comprehend written procedures and reports.
- Very good communication skills.
- Proactive thinker and creative.
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision.
- Teamwork skills and a positive attitude.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- London, ON N5V 1S2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
