**MISSION DE L'EMPLOIL**: le rôle d'un directeur de magasin adjoint à la vente au détail est de soutenir les objectifs de vente et les tâches opérationnelles du directeur du magasin. Ils aident également à embaucher, former et développer le personnel tout en cultivant une culture qui reflète les valeurs fondamentales de New Balance (intégrité, travail d'équipe et satisfaction totale de la clientèle). En l'absence du directeur du magasin, l'ASM se met à sa place et dirige le magasin.

**PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Créer et maintenir une culture de « satisfaction totale de la clientèle »
- Aidez votre directeur de magasin à atteindre les repères financiers et les objectifs opérationnels
- Collaborer avec le directeur du magasin et le directeur de district pour exécuter des plans de vente stratégiques
- Soyez un leader Encadrer et développer votre personnel ; leur succès = votre succès
- Aider à coordonner les opportunités de bénévolat pour développer notre marque au sein des communautés que nous servons
- Aider au traitement de la paie et à la rédaction des horaires pour les associés du magasin
- Passez à la tête de l'équipe lorsque le gestionnaire de magasin n'est pas disponible

**CONDITIONS REQUISES POUR RÉUSSIR**
- Doit être âgé de 18 ans ou plus.
- 2 ans d'expérience dans la vente au détail (certains magasins dans les zones à volume plus élevé peuvent avoir besoin de plus)
- B.A. en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe préféré
- Maîtrise des systèmes de point de vente et de Microsoft Office
- Connaissance des opérations de vente au détail telles que les ventes, le service à la clientèle, le merchandising, le contrôle des stocks, la préparation du budget du magasin et la prévention des pertes
- Capacité démontrée de diriger et de faire partie d'une équipe

**JOB MISSION**
The role of a Retail Assistant Store Manager is to support the sales goals and operational duties of the Store Manager. They also help hire, train, and develop staff while cultivating a culture that reflects the core values of New Balance (integrity, teamwork, and total customer satisfaction). In the absence of the Store Manager, the ASM steps into their shoes and runs the store.

**MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Create and maintain a "Total Customer Satisfaction" culture
- Help your Store Manager hit financial marks and operational objectives
- Collaborate with Store Manager and District Manager to execute strategic sales plans
- Be a leader Coach and develop your staff; their success = your success
- Help coordinate volunteer opportunities to build our brand within the communities we serve
- Assist with processing payroll and writing schedules for store associates
- Step up to lead the team when Store Manager is unavailable

**REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS**
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 2 years’ retail experience (some stores in higher volume areas may require more)
- B.A. in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of retail operations such as sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation, and loss prevention
- Demonstrated ability to lead and be part of a team
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 4 lbs. constantly; lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary); stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; frequently climb and descend stairs (depending on location)
