Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Ergonomic Consultant to join our team. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients during assessments to reduce their risk of experiencing pain and discomfort while working. This will primarily be in office work settings but can also include laboratories, warehouses, healthcare facilties and manufacturing plants. This is a role that requires strong independent work skills, excellent communication abilities, compassion and a love for helping others. We will train on the job all ergonomic-specific skills. If you have experience as a rehabilitation specialist (PT, OT, CCPE or R.Kin) we will provide the rest of the education in order to complete ergonomic assessments.

**Duties**:

- Conduct in-depth assessments of ones workspace, equipment, setup, environment and station to identify areas for improvement and recommendations for change
- Develop a detailed report to address client's needs
- Interact with clients as needed to ensure recommendations are implemented.
- Opportunity to conduct training courses and deliver presentations in ergonomics both in-person and virtually.

Qualifications:

- Certified Ergonomist (CCCPE), Registered Physiotherapist (CPA), Licensed Occupational Therpist (COTO) or Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in the rehbailitation field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and establish relationships
- English is essential and French is beneficial

At our company, we offer competitive compensation packages that are based on a daily rate consiting of an 8 hour on-site workday. Report writting should be done between appointements or can be done on your own time after work.
